Introduction by Ben Haggarty to the series of performances and to the evening's event, followed by story told by Ben Haggarty. A story about a man who loses his job because he saves the life of a talking fish. The man makes a deal with the devil. He takes the devil's milk cow, on the understanding that after three years the devil will visit and ask him questions, which he must answer to avoid losing his soul. The night the devil visits, a mysterious young man seeks shelter in the man's house, answers the devil's questions, outwits the devil and ensures that the man keeps the cow and his soul.
