Story told by Ben Haggarty. An archer marries a women, Vasilissa the Wise and Beautiful, who appears to him as a bird. Vasilissa has two demon servants who help to make money for her and her husband to live. When the King sees Vasilissa he decides that he wants her as his wife, and his advisor seeks the advice of Baba Yaga to get rid of the archer. The archer is sent to hunt a deer with golden antlers, which Vasilissa's demon servants bring for her. The archer is then sent to go 'I know not where' and bring back 'I know not what'. Vasilissa's demons cannot help, so Vasilissa sends her husband, the archer, on a journey following a ball of orange wool, which takes him to her mother and sister. Vasilissa's mother calls on all the birds of the air, all the animals of the land and all the creatures of the sea, and finds a frog who knows where 'I know not where is'. The frog travels with the archer and finds Smatmazoon, or 'I know not what', an invisble magical being that can grant anything it is asked for. Smatmazoon agrees to travel back with the archer. On their journey they collect two more marvels, and when they return to the archer's country, they use the marvels to re-house themselves and fight the King. The King and his advisor are bannished, and the archer and Vasilissa become King and Queen of the land, with Smatmazoon as their faithful servant.
