A story told by Ben Haggarty. A man treats his maid, Mary, harshly. One day he instructs Mary to cook two ducks for himself and a guest. When one of the duck's wings becomes singed in the fire, Mary eats it, and begins a process of eating both of the ducks in their entirety. Mary then tricks her master into thinking that his guest has stolen the ducks, and the guest into thinking that his host plans to kill him. | |
