A story told by Ben Haggarty. One day Tom sees a Leprechaun and asks him to show him where his gold is hidden. The Leprechaun takes him to a mole-hill under which his gold is buried. Tom marks the mole-hill with his scalf and makes the Leprechaun promise that he won't touch it. Tom goes to fetch a spade and when he returns, finds that the Leprechaun has marked every mole-hill in the field with identical scarves. | |
