Sound recording, story and song; a Jewish creation myth, told and sung by Ben Zimet, as part of The Grand Storytelling Festival Celebration, at The First International Storytelling Festival at Battersea Arts Centre, London, 2nd February 1985

A Jewish mystical story about love, the creation of time, and separation, with sections of song in Yiddish told and sung by Ben Zimet. The heart of the world falls in love with the sight of a spring in a mountain. The heart moves towards the spring, but it remains within view. As darkness falls, the heart realises it will loose sight of the spring and begins to sing. The spring and all the animals of the world hear and join in with the song, which allows more time to be woven.
