Introduction to the Book Me event, followed by story told by Ben Haggarty. A story about a pack man, who was never welcome at anyone's house, as he had no story to tell. This continues until he spends a night in the devil's kitchen; escapes from being buried alive by two of the devil's men, and from being consumed by the devil himself.

The Book Me event was a two part event run for families at the Barbican Centre London, as part of their educational provision. The event provided storytelling performances and storytelling workshops, where participants learned to retell oral stories, for family audiences.
