The story tells of how the Unicorn was refused space on the ark, built by Noah, on God's instruction, to avoid a great flood, but how, before it drowns, the Unicorn punctures the boat with its horn. The methods Mrs Noah employs to block the hole in the ark, provide an expnantion for why dogs have wet noses; women have cold elbows, and why men always warm their buttocks in front of the fire. | |
