Breathing the Dawn is drawn from the Bulgarian epic cycle of the Balkan hero Krali Marko. It tells of his rise to power, his fall from grace and his passage from youth to maturity. | |

| A Spell in Time was founded by Moni Sheehan and Ivor Davis in 1995. These two performers are variously joined by musicians, singers and dancers to perform material which is Bulgarian in origin; with many of the stories told being translated by mother, daughter team: Paraskeva Armstrong and Moni Sheehan. Company members at this time were Moni Sheehan, Ivor Davies, Dessislava Stefanova and Galen Nikolov. | |
