Sound recording, story, song and discussion; sections of praise singing and epic singing from Gujarat, by Bhabubhai Ranpura and Dolardan Ghadvi, artists known as Lami and Lumpi, at the Cultural Co-operation Indian Music Village Festival, at Orlean's House, Twickenham, London 31st July 1991.

An introduction to and explanation of the tradition and its form, by Bhabubhia Ranpura and Dolardan Ghadvi, with interpretation and mediation, followed by a section of epic performed through song, poetry and prose, and devotional songs and praise songs. Followed by further disucssion and explanation of the narratives, traditions and beliefs on which the content is based, and its performance.

Bhabubhai Ranpura and Dolardan Ghadvi came to England on three occasions, they performed in the Indian Music Village in 1991, At the South Bank Centre's Spirit of the Earth Festival in 1992 and in 1993 at Watford Town Hall and the first Beyond the Border International Storytelling Festival in Wales.
