Completion of the frame story Jimmy told and acted out by two pupils and a pupil in role as the Master of Ceremonies. A story about a man at a harvest feast who can't tell a story and so leaves to pay a foreit. He goes to bale out a boat on the river. As the boat crosses the river the man becomes a women. On the other side of the river the now-women meets, marries and has a family with a man. Then one day the women is passing the river and notices a boat. She goes to bale out the boat. As the boat crosses the river, she becomes a man once again. The man returns to the harvest feast and tells his story, and is rewarded for telling the best story and the best lie. | |
