Since 2005 Kate had been leading the LCIS's Heritage Lottery Funded archive project, which involves the documentation and digitisation of stories, photo-libraries and programme archives dating back to 1981, and the collection of recordings of performance storytelling.
A graduate in Geography and Environmental Sciences and a trained teacher, Kate has many years experience of working as an Education and Interpretation Manager for environmental and heritage organisations: skills and experiences which she combines with her interest in performance storytelling and intangible cultural heritages to lead a number of LCIS projects.
